- The beauty of the temple grounds, serene atmosphere, and tea with the Abbess were my most vivid memories during my Templestay at Hwaunsa. I was perfectly comfortable. Wish I could stay longer! In my few days here, I have had a very peaceful, relaxing, and spiritual time. It has been so nice to escape from the daily hustle & bustle of everyday life, and have the opportunity for self-reflection in such a beautiful area at this time in my life. My stay at Hwaunsa has been the highlight of my travels! Thank you for a wonderful stay, and I hope to return in the future.
